about the author

Dora Palko-Gyurina studied communication at the University of Szeged and psychology at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. She always liked writing poems and short stories, and loved working with children. After a few years when her first boy was born, she started to think about children’s stories. Both of her sons have high-functioning autism. After her sons were born, Dora started to see some things from a different perspective as she learnt more from the boys. Her first boy, Dom, inspired her to write her first children story about what is going on in a toddler’s mind when they are going to have a baby brother or sister. Dom thinks differently of his baby brother than his parents and grandparents.
